Reporting from Greece: At the Movies

You all missed the Thessaloniki Documentary Film Festival.  I didn't, and I'm gracious enough to tell you about it.

Also, doesn't that film festival graphic look sorta like a guy getting shot in the eye?  That's Greek graphic design for you.
So, what's the best movie you've seen in the past 7 months?  It better not be Serenity, Brokeback Mountain, King Kong, Good Night, and Good Luck, Walk the Line, Munich, Breakfast on Pluto, Harry Potter, or Aeon Flux, because I've seen all of those. 
(And it better not be Aeon Flux, because that movie was bad.)

I work in a high school dormitory. What brought you to Thessaloniki?
(I tried reading your LJ, but German is one of the many languages that I don't know.)

my dad comes from thessaloniki. i will go there next thursday. last year i was there for four mnths and i went to aristotelios university. i really loved my time there. do you speek greek?

I'm learning Greek. I haven't gotten good enough that I can say "I speak Greek." Today, I went to the market, and was able to converse fairly well with some vendors. I bet you can speak Greek better than I can

I have a few friends that go to Aristoteleos University. What did you study?

i was doing a greek course. i am a native speeking greek but i had problems with writing and orthography. so i made this class. i´m sorry that my english ist not that good :-)
do you know the bar okeanws at kamara? that is my favorite place to go...
